Location
Maquoketa Iowa is a small town in Iowa with a population of about 6000. The
Jackson County Fairgrounds are a great location to host the Vintage Torque Fest.
Plenty of parking for spectators, with room for a swap meet, camping on site, and
a nice 15000 square foot indoor building to host the killer kustoms and the nice
show rods.  The building was built in 1961, and has the old armory show type feel
to it. The building is equipped with a bar and we will have all the vendors in this
building as well.  Due to the many complaints received in 2010, the bands will not
be inside with the vendors. Instead we will have a sound system providing tunes
that will range from Social Distortion, Lionel Hampton, and The Afterdarks to
Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Pushrod.  If you are in the mood for Beach Boys
and doo wop - sorry - wrong show. The live bands and more food will be outside.
